TVGuide Interview with Joss Whedon regarding Serenity and Wonder Woman.

I hope this is a permanent link.

Wow. A T.V. Guide interview that doesn't ask Joss about the Spike movie?

I think I have officially lost all hope. Sigh.

Well, the interview isn't about tv projects so I'm not surprised that Spike wasn't mentioned. Nice interview and for both Joss' sake and our sake I hope the DVDs sell enough so he can give us more Serenity! I also loved hearing his comments on how things are going writing Wonder Woman. If Joss is having a great time with it, sounds like it's going to be a fun movie to watch!

I believe this is a running joke between certain people - every time there's a TV Guide interview, there's a certain person who always asks about a Spike project.

You would think if something was actually happening, the Spike movie would have been mentioned. I'll sigh too.

Spike, spike, Spike...or any other Buffy/Angel related character project PLEASE!!!
(Sorry, I just HAD to say that)

I think if a Spike movie will happen, I hope Joss may just get it rolling and "Surprise!! Here it is everybody!!", or something like that - or ANYTHING like that. Just one little movie...and then maybe another one-then another - Oh the pain of waiting.......

You know what AncientMagicks? That would be a blast if it happened that way. We are all so uber aware of everything going on and when it's going to happen that there hasn't really been any real surprises. Take "Serenity" for example, we started hearing the rumors first, then it started sounding like it might actually happen and then there was a movie. How wonderful would it have been to be totally in the dark about the whole thing and to be sitting watching TV some night and suddenly see a trailer for the movie never knowing it was coming. I think I probably would have passed out from excitement if that had happened that way!

...and I probably still would not have heard of it. ;-)

That's simple - don't read Whedonesque and you won't know about these things ;)

In fairness, there have been several surprises this year - I think Goners suddenly being mentioned in Variety is probably the biggest.

Well, that is how the world found out about Joss doing new Buffy comics. He came on Whedonesque and told us. If the Spike movie happens, we will more than likely be the first to know.
