The gulf between my level of regard for clothing and that level implicit in the widespread consumption of (relatively) expensive outfits is pretty wide. Since I generally only get clothes when they're on a (really good) sale, it's rare for my outfits to run more than $20.00, total.
Then again, as I'm a fairly broad-shouldered fellow, the Buffy look likely wouldn't look good on me, so it may be just as well.
My Slayer-wear would be practical, leaning more towards t-shirts, combat boots, and cargo pants (you could hide a whole arsenal in those pockets). Since that's pretty much my wardrobe anyway...
Actually, it's all pretty affordable. $11 shoes? If not for a lot of people, then at least for Buffy. You know she blew more than $100 on an outfit (although where she got that money is a TV mystery).
