Would that be that "funky looking mansion on Crawford Street"? I'd be too scared to live there, with all the horrible things filmed there...I mean, an S Club 7 video? Yeurgh.
I love the Ennis House... it is a work of functional art. If I had the financial resources, it would be an honor to complete the rest of restoration and then live there. Blade Runner location and Firefly promos give it added awesome energy.
The only drawback to living there would be the intrusive strangers coming by because the Ennis House is so darn famous.
Oh god, I can't even imagine how amazing it would be to live in that house. It's so beautiful.
One of the things I really appreciate about Britain is the way that the national built heritage is honoured and preserved. It's an imperfect system, but much better than not-always-benign neglect.
LOL - I knew of the pool because of the Buffy xbox game! I also wish I was rich and could buy this and restore it. I'd also want Buffy's house and Serenity. Serenity would make a great house to live in!!
Time sharing on $5 would get each of us... what, 32 seconds apiece? Not bad!
But they only used the house for exterior shots, right? I have to say that I'd rather own the house/set where they filmed the interior. Buffy and Angel dueling, Faith's conversations with Angel, Angel thinking Oz is Buffy -- that's what I'd shell out some bucks for.

Oh right, I forgot about the Buffy Xbox game. I too would want to live in Buffy's house. Love that house! Serenity would be cool too. For a ship, it always came across as having such a cozy, homey feel to it.
There's a bar in Tempe AZ for sale that would make a perfect Serenity. It's a 2-story barn with a front door that's just itching to be made into a loading ramp. They called it Minderbinder's. And the fact that it's closed and for sale just breaks my heart. Best. Bar. Ever.

And I would so buy that house. I think I've got $32 in my bank account, is that enough?

I'm like the rest of you. I wish I had the resources to preserve (and perhaps to live in) such beautiful FLW house.

Seriously though, it really is a beautiful home and I am envious of anyone well off enough to live there.
