That's disappointing. Hadn't we heard 20 and 21 would both be December releases?

so that's more than 2 months in between 18 and 19 ... i was patient thinking it would be out first wednesday of november .. now i'm growing impatient ... i need my buffy fix! is this a sign of storylines changing due to the release of the harmony cover? we all guessed the upcoming plotline and now joss wants to throw us for a loop?

I would assume there is absolutely no way to change the plot at this point; not only has it impacted future issues which are being worked on right now, but it's kind of a big thing that has been planned for a long time. Also, we didn't really figure out the plot...because Scott Allie and Joss himself both told us about it some time ago.

Anyway, yes, this is rather disappointing if true.

Having already re-read Fray, I was planning to go through Season 8 again before the next issue. If this is right, it sadly looks like I've got plenty of time.

And what, we are surprised? I seem to recall the last series of posts on this when the next issue was delayed, noting that it was unlikely for Dh to actually meet the new schedule it was publicizing. No matter how you cut it, delays are generally not a good thing.

Daylight, Jeanty probably did that while Moline was on as the artist for #16-19. Also, I think Allie said that the first issue or two of the one-shots has been done for a long time, which is why they were planning on releasing them both in December (#20 and #21, with #22 not a month later).
