Relatedly, the site used to say the 501c3 was pending, but this page doesn't say "pending" anymore -- so has it been approved now, or is that a typomission?
The charity selected for this event is on the page, with a link to their site. It is Path Ventures, which builds homes for the homeless, special needs homeless, people in transition and low to moderate income. 501c3 status has been approved for Fandom charities.
It's a good cause and I hope you can all be there. It should be a blast!
Not many theaters are going to screen a 40+ minute video. It will pretty much almost always need to be combined with something else. (Although, one could always do two sing-alongs: One the three acts, and the other the musical commentary. That would come close to 90 minutes.)
ETA: Come as your favorite... hammer. Ball Peen or Sledge - it is so hard to decide.
