This gracious, beautiful, and charming woman opened her and her husband's bar/nightspot (and their hearts) to 375 stunned Firefly/Serenity fans--a week before the official opening--when our convention was canceled from under us December 2006--the infamous B3 (Browncoat Back-Up Bash). I had the opportunity to talk with her and was very impressed with her sincerity in assuring we all had a great time. I plan to return with friends and toast the good people of La Cantina at the next Firefly convention November 22nd. A happy and healthy birthday, Clare, and many many joyous more.
