EzyDvd really do make the effort when it comes to DVDs. Their Serenity Tin DVD was lovely. Unfortunately I don't think Region 4 DVDs will play on my Region 2 XBOX 360. But ta very much for the news.
Thanks for the info. From past experience, I've found the packaging on Australian discs (not just from ezydvd) is a lot nicer than its American counterparts. Not to mention Australian DVDs are in PAL format, which is nice.
My second copy of Firefly is also from them, which was the special tin packaging released sometime ago, slimmer than the US R1 box, it looks great on the shelf.

Actually, these are dual coded Region 2/4 releases, like most major distibutors' European and Australian releases are. As both use PAL format, it's just cheaper to make the same discs for both markets.
That's almost and completely depressing at the same time. When I bought the Serenity and Firefly tins from them a while ago the currency conversion was a lot easier on the wallet. *sigh*

If I remember correctly, the fist disc of the Australian Serenity release is R2/4, but the second disc is Australian exclusive, and Region 4 only.
