"Joss has some strange, giant master plan that includes much more than a sequel".
The Watcher talked to Neil Patrick Harris about Dr. Horrible at a CBS party on Friday. - And who would win in a fight: Dr. Horrible or Barney?
Oh, and if this has been posted before, please delete. I'm getting confused...

Dr. Horrible on a scale of one to 10 is a 10, and Barney’s, like, 27.”
Classic.

“You’ll probably have to ask him.”
(... i.e., ask Joss about the possibility of sequels, etc.)
Sounds like a good question for Monday's online Q&A at the Washington Post

That sounds very Joss... and very me too, which is incredibly scary and awesome, and now I feel more pressure from my own essence than ever before.
Dammit. ;)

That said, if he could get the rights to the characters etc. cheaply enough, a series of animated Flash shorts might not be prohibitively expensive (and obviously he'd "just" be writing it, kind of like with the comics, so maybe doable time-wise too).

‘And this will take over the world, and there will be sequels and musicals on stage and feature films and we’ll get our own television network and they’ll name awards after us’ and things like that.”
Does he have a newsletter?

I think Joss is kidding - too much saturation of one project could kill the interest. I'm very satisfied with how this first one ended, though I'm not averse to a sequel. How does Dr. H deal with losing his soul? Own television network, definitely.

Either way, a sequel has to be made so we can finally get an answer to Captain Hammer's mysterious backstory. I mean, what kind of superhero has four sweatervests dry-cleaned?

No, really.
