It definitely was no longer than a hour. I didn't clock it (bad me) but it seemed more like 45 minutes. 45 glorious minutes. Or, you know, 2700 mind-blowing seconds.
I like the buzz this is receiving. A friend of mine, all the way over in here The Netherlands, who has never seen anything of Joss Whedon before, e-mailed me the link to the trailer today ("take a look at this, this looks very promosing"). And although statistics with one person is, well, not even statistics, I'd say the buzz is growing. Is it tuesday yet?
Talk about buzz- I upgraded my internet speed and installed a new modem just so I can watch this in it's entirety without the jerky stop.starting of my ancient (5 year old) one.
I didn't know Petrie was joining 'Pushing Daisies', which is great news!
But do we know exactly at what time, and based on what time zone? Will it start right after midnight the night before, like some of the Harry Potter and Star Wars showings did when they opened? Or is there another starting time, like noon, Pacific Daylight Time?

I'll go you one better. I bought a new computer, which I totally can't afford. (Truth is, my old one's dying a rapidly escalating death and I was planning this anyhow, but it sounds cool to say it here, in this context ;-)
But my luck? Ordered it on Amazon and ...are you ready?... it ships on the 15th. So I'll be watching on my old laptop, assuming it doesn't explode before then.
I was doing a panel at a con last night on Dollhouse, so of course we had to talk about Dr. Horrible. Some knew about it and planned to watch, some knew about it but had no idea it started on Tuesday and some had never heard of it but were now excited. All planned to buy the DVD, especially after hearing about the musical commentary.
I expect that there will be sales of the DVD from those who miss it this week and during the paid download period.

12:01 or close to it, according to Joss, but I didn't ask about time zone.
I'll post the quote later after I finish transcribing.
