How do I get in on the ground floor of the coming mushortio craze ?
Gotta say, i'd totally read more Doctor Horrible comics by Mr Zachary Whedon esq. (I know, I know, i'm almost too giving, that sort of willingness to sacrifice can be a curse too you know) especially if they were drawn by the same artist, his style was brilliantly suited to the story.
(actually, an online anthology with a segment from each of the writers would be very, very cool - i'd love to get a feel for all their voices)
And dare we hope that the idea of a read-out-by-Nathan DVD extra might be in the ether ?
That would be an awesome DVD extra, having Fillion read the comic's narration. Maybe even getting Neil Patrick Harris for his line(s?) and whoever else for any random extras' lines.

It really would. I've got in mind something like the "Plot-holes" DVD extra from 'Shaun of the Dead' (R2, not sure about elsewhere) which features some of the cast describing what happened during three "off-screen" moments from the film over illustrations of the events. Course, for "Be Like Me" it'd arguably be even better because there's actual dialogue for Nathan and maybe even NPH to get their teeth into and act.
Might not be doable from a rights perspective though, too many legal hoops maybe ?
We have the power to envision a great deal and the power to create very little, hence my plain non-Dr. Horrible jammies. So we may have envisioned a comic alongside the lunch boxes and inappropriately-awarded Oscars and so forth...
He sounds just like Joss. There's 3 of these guys! How come they have taken over the world by now?
Or we could just wait until Joss' kids are old enough to write. So, say, a couple years before the Whedon genius kicks in? I bet they do damn fine fingerpaintings.
What's that about an embarrassment of riches or far too much talent in one family. Speaking of which, I think I stood in the wrong line when I got my family. What's the return policy? And I too would eagerly read more Capt. Hammer comic-y goodness.
I think on average you share ¼ of your genes with your siblings so from a cloning perspective we only actually have 1½ Jossi unfortunately. Don't put away your test-tubes just yet.
Zack: "We have the power to envision a great deal and the power to create very little, hence my plain non-Dr. Horrible jammies."
Jammies! Yes! Sold with a tiny box of laundry soap! It's a whole laundromat tie-in! Doc Horrible Jammies! Laundry soap!! Woo-hoo! Why won't you listen to me?!!
*settles down.*
I like him. And ain't it true about the envisioning/creation ratio? It kills me every day... the imagination is so infinite and the 24-hour day so finite.
Okay, if I could pick just one product I'd like to see it would be Doc Horrible Colorforms. (No, not chloroform - where's that joke from? Seems like I just heard it recently.) No, I mean colorforms. I loved my Rocky and Bullwinkle colorforms, and I would equally love my Doc Horrible ones.

No, it's about 50% on average, with some variability due to crossing over. It's close enough!
I would like some sort of Evil League of Evil stuff, myself. And if they don't sell that, I'm making some kind of ELoE decal to stick to my stuff myself.

Hmm. If there's a 0.5 probability of me having gene A and a 0.5 probability of my sister having it, surely the chance of us both having it (the events being independent but not exclusive) is 0.5 x 0.5 = 0.25 ? On one hand that seems to make sense, on the other i've a feeling i'm probably making a simple-minded mistake ;).
(on average i.e. excepting cross-over, similar/dissimilar gender etc.)
It's 25% per parent. You have a 50% chance of a given gene from your mother and your sibling has a 50% of having that given gene, does make it 25%. But, assuming you share both parents, there's another 25% from your father.
That said, I really don't see a downside to more Whedony goodness. Send in the clones.

That's the odds that you share a specific allele, yes. But you also have a 25% chance of sharing the other allele with your sister. So in total you have a 50% chance of sharing an allele (one or the other) for a given gene with your sister.

It is excellent.
And "MuShortio"? I'm down with it. Somebody make some T-Shirts.

And, yes, send in the clones. What would be the harm of an out-break of Whedons? Certaintly nothing like the Boba Fetts, right? ??
And we definately need more strips. And jammies.
