Angel Premiering on Hulu June 23rd. As part of the "Hulu Days of Summer," the first season will become available.

Cause nothing says summer like Angel?

I'm curious. Do the actors/writers get anything for episodes shown on Hulu? Or is this one of the issues in the contract negotiations?

Cause nothing says summer like Angel?

Apparently they're premiering something new every day for 8 weeks. That's a lot of content.

Simon: Well, there's an LJ community called "Spring With Xan" and one called "Summer of Giles", so there you go. Nothing says "summer" like Angel especially when he dreamed he was in bed with Cordelia.

That's great that they're adding Angel (I know that they already have some Buffy and all of Firefly). I watch Hulu every day. In the morning we watch an episode of Jack of All Trades (yea Bruce Campbell) and we've already worked our way through Cleopatra 2525 (yea Gina Torres) and last night I saw my first episode of Barney Miller (yea Ron Glass). There aren't too many commercial breaks and the commercials are the same volume as the show. Better than buying a tv.

Oh, I know, it's "Summer with Angel" because Summer Glau once was a guest on Angel which ties in to everything, even the wheel. Ta da!

LOL. I was going to go with "nothing says Summer like Angel" because he's just sooo hot (like Summer)...*puts on LAME hat*

I'm a bit disappointed they're deciding to put up Angel before they put up Buffy Season 3. Based on some of the comments on Hulu, some people are discovering Buffy for the first time, and jumping from 2nd season Buffy to 1st season Angel might be a bit confusing. Ideally, Buffy Season 4 and Angel Season 1 would be released concurrently.

Ideally, but still confusing. Poor DVD guys... all of that changing out of disks. I was WAY too lazy for that. I just kept reminding myself that there's "another story" as I watched all of Buffy first, then Angel. It worked well enough.

lol! I was sooo determined to watch all of Angel and Buffy 4 on as they aired, switching between. I made it half a season before it got annoying.

Plus my fiance was seeing Angel for the first time then and thought it was harder to get into the show when you're constantly switching between.
