First look at Vampire Amber. CineQuest are bringing out two minibusts of Amber Benson's character from Supernatural.

Cheers to the ever lovely deannaB for the heads up.

And the other shoe drops. Always been curious how Amber would look "vamped". I must say, that wasn't one of them.

Other shoe? There was a first shoe dropped? When did that happen? ;)

I'm assuming you know that the picture used for the article is of the item in a very early development stage, Madhatter? The Supernatural vamps are different in style to the Whedon ones (less bumpy foreheads, more sharp teeth) and for the most part their vampire form is pretty much human looking.

There's a picture of Amber Benson in the role of Lenore here if you want to see how she looks on the show. I still think that they need to do more with her character. There was a lot of potential in how she was written.

The character Amber played on SN should so get a spin-off series, I would watch it and I don't even really watch Supernatural...

Highlander: Agreed. Lenore was written with an interesting background that would've made a great recurring character at the least. She greyed up the good vs evil. Usually one episode characters aren't that multi-dimensional, so it's kinda weird that they haven't used her again.

Better living through nosebleeds....

Supernatural is such an awesome show and to have former Buffy actors on there is a real bonus. (Oh, James Marsters where are you?) While I am pleased to see this mini-bust, I am still waiting for some decent Sam & Dean action figures. The mini-bust they did of Dean is not good, to say the least.

I don't actually like any of the CineQuest Supernatural minibusts, but (so far) Amber's bust looks okay. If the people working on this were the same people who worked on the previous ones, maybe I just have a problem with the paint jobs.

And I totally second wanting Marsters on SPN too. *happy noises*

Now see LiLi, the phrase "Amber's bust looks okay" sets my eyes to glazing and my mind to wandering regardless of the (lack of) context... :-)
