Saje, I doubt that's a regular house. It's probably a smaller apartment house. There are multiple antennas on the roof to support the theory. And I certainly hope Paul can afford an apartment. Otherwise, he needs to change professions quickly.
Or just relax and go with. If your machine's going to be taken over anyway, better Firefox than IE IMO ;).
I have Firefox as my default but keep IE as well, because of photo viewing issues with Firefox. No problem with sites like Flickr, but Firefox wont let me enlarge thumbnails that are posted directly to a couple of different forums. Three other members on MarstersOfOz have the same problem.
Also, I don't have the latest version of Firefox (every time I get the "d/l it now" box, I click on "later"). I tried the newest version and it wouldn't let me continue to run IE as well.
No browser tells me I can't run another browser, and survives on my computer. ;-)
As a sidenote (to clarify), Firefox will not tell you you can't continue to run IE (it will ask to be default, as they all do, but you can change that at any time), plus you can run a plugin called IETab that allows you to open IE sessions in Firefox tabs, which is brilliant. Okay, shutting up.

Do you think Phantom Dennis will move in with Paul at some point? Plus, though it must be disconcerting having all that scaffolding outside for someone to be able to spy on you, it must be nice having a crew hanging out there to scare off the would-be peepers ;). Yes, I'm joking.

I imagine that this is the apartment referenced last month by Kristen at E! (mild spoilers for Dollhouse, plus some spoilers for other shows, but they're a month old, so maybe not so spoilery at this point, except some info on the Lost finale).
This is where I continue to whine about how I lived across from that apartment for two years, and had I stayed in LA, I would still be there. I knew it was my old neighborhood but my section of the street?!!!! *No more words, only angsty noises*
I think Tahmoh Penikett (did I spell that right?) was an excellent casting choice by Joss. As for the apartment, a little "rich" for a $60,000 a year FBI agent, don't you think?
I also thought that the apartment was too nice for an FBI agent, both because it looks too expensive, but he also doesn't seem to me like the type to pick such a *nice* building.
The type of person who can get so obsessed with finding the Dollhouse would not, IMO, care about the aesthetics of his residence. I think he'd pick a less nice place, with neighbors who would not be inclined to be social, and with few distractions so he can focus on his obsession.

The blackout curtains definitely ring true to me, though. They really are a godsend in the summer...especially if your window faces west, and you live in AZ.

You'd think it would be east, Saje, but actually it's the late afternoon sun that's really un-fun. Yes, the sun rises in the east, but it's not too terribly hot until at least noon. Trust me: the west side of the house sucks...especially if you sleep through the troublesome morning, as I do over the summer.
