Okay, when eventually How I Met Your Mother ends, Neil is SO casted as Charlie on Dollhouse. Or possibly Tango.

Just so long as he's not "Beta." I don't think that will happen, though, since from what I've seen so far about the Dollhouse characters, the abuse of the standard phonetic radio alphabet and other lingo that could easily be looked up will not occur again. Sorry, I watched a chunk of season 4 BtVS last week.

It'll be a little while longer, I suspect, as the people doing post production on it also all work on TV and movies. And it's currently bonkers in LA due to the messed up TV season and the rush to get anything ready for air.

One of the nice things about the Internet is how quickly you can get stuff out there. So I'm hoping it won't be long either.

Still, I hope it goes up in good quality. It'd be a shame to see it go at youtube-quality.

Does anyone have idea what the business model is for this? Is it going online for free, with donations -- a Radiohead-like thing, "pay what you want". Or is it going to be something we have to buy, or what?

For those interested in more NPH, he was on NPR's humorous news quiz, "Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me" a few weeks ago, as the "Not My Job" celebrity contestant.

I didn't post it because he didn't mention Dr. Horrible, but it's a fun listen. He talks about how he ended up playing himself in "Harold and Kumar..."

I'm pretty sure Joss said it would go online for free viewing. I'd find the quote if I wasn't madly late for work, and if my name were "QuoterGal."

Well, trust me on this this once. It was in one of the recent links about "monetizing." Whatever ultimately happens with the "Dr. Horrible" productions, they would initially be online for free - like "The Guild."

I don't know if I could eat kittens, having just recently read that All Kittens Have Asperger's. It's the kind of cute book that only education majors buy. I didn't...it was a friend's! Really!

When did the news of Dollhouse burst on the scene and blow our wee brains? (My brain is wee, anyway.) Ditto Dr. Horrible? The unexpected explosion of Whedon creativity this year has just been pure joy, hasn't it? Every day I struggle between not knowing to be more excited about Horrible or the Dolls. It'll be great when we know when to expect them. Obsessive countdowning is always fun.

Speaking of fun, NPH sounds like a great guy. He loves Joss's work, he's enthusiastic, he's clever (I, too, heard him on NPR's Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me the other weekend.) He comes off as a funny, snarky guy but not of the offputtingly I'm-so-much-better-than-you variety of snarky. I can't wait to hear and see him belt those "catchy" tunes out. I want a Dr. Horrible soundtrack! I want the sheet music! Yes! (And I still want a collected tunes of Lorne CD to come out, which I have long thought should be called "Songs for the Love, Lorne." I don't remember anymore if I made that up. Probably not.)

One more thing: I love Nathan Fillion as much as the next person - maybe more - but I can't help rooting for poor Dr. Horrible to stop being beaten up by our Nathan. At least I think I'm rooting for Dr. H. We shall see.

Anyone think that Dr. Horrible will also be downloadable via iTunes or some other service?

Scott Allie alluded to something on the final page of the next issue of Buffy, too. Knowing Buffy, I would not be surprised if we saw something like a smaller round of the fan reaction to Issue 12 in May.

As far as Dr. Horrible, for right now I'm envisioning a Frankenfurter-esque type. I just don't know why; NPH doesn't strike me in any way as the transvestite type. Mayhaps it's because of the name; it could be because I just recently discovered that ASH was Frankenfurter on stage. God, I would have killed to see that. Or at least have sold a kidney to buy the tix.

Wait, if April is the calm before the storm, what's with that "April showers bring May flowers" adage? Unless we consider Joss some sort of pilgrim in the world of entirely new, awesome entertainment.
