Read these! Best books on TV.
To mark National TV Turnoff Week, Entertainment Weekly recommends that viewers should read books about TV instead. And so the Buffy Script Books get a glowing recommendation. In related EW list mania, Sunnydale High gets chosen as one of the worst pop cult high schools that you wouldn't want to attend.

Anyone else have a strange liking of these ultimatly pointless lists? I just have to read them for some reason.

As for Neptune... it's not on the list, right? But I would probably have put it on the worst list. Although I guess if you are a '09er, you're happy enough. I wouldn't want to go to a school with such class segregations, though.

As for Sunnydale, a part of me would like to go there, but only if I was one of the Scoobies, or at least in the loop as far as the whole demons, vampires, and monsters thing goes. In this case, ignorance would lead to...well, eternal bliss (one would hope), but it would make high school more interesting, to say the least.
The thing that makes me not want to go there? Snyder! I think the tiny, short, impotent Nazi is the worst thing--including poltergeists, giant snakes, and standardized testing--to happen to that school.
And I really, really, wouldn't want to go to Hemery. Or Chilton, for that matter, though I would do fine academically...just not socially due to lack of WASP-iness.
But top on my list would have to go to Westerburg High, from the movie Heathers.
