If it's anything like 'The River Man' another TVM about the same hunt, Ted Bundy isn't in it for all that long (in the other film he was played by Cary Elwes and had maybe 15-20 minutes screen time, if that - can't really remember it too well).

Basically it's about a detective that, while engaged in a serial killer hunt, goes to jail and interviews Bundy to try to gain insight into the man he's hunting. Elwes was pretty good in the other one and i've no doubt JM will acquit himself well also.

Sounds to me like the reviewer was impressed with the James cameo and not so impressed with the star of the movie. Next time they will know to have James as the star. Will they never learn.

James should watch out or he'll be typecast as a multiple murderer... Spike, Captain John and now Ted Bundy? The resume is looking terribly bloody...

But he does have "nice guy" roles in "PS..I Love You" and "Without a Trace" to balance it all out. Plus Brainiac, Lex Luthor in Superman: Doomsday and Piccolo fill out an impressive roster of villians on that CV.

Pretty much. In fairness though, Thomas Harris took the idea from this guy and his Bundy interviews NOT vice versa (but since the films came out afterwards - understandably, since the Green River killer was only caught in 2001 - it'll seem like a rip off of Lambs).

He proved his versatility years ago in Cool Money (I think the European/UK release had a different title.)
