Veronica and Logan easily with, with Pam/Jim and Buffy/Spike tying for the second spot on my list. But the "Alias" kissage doesn't even register a bleep on my kissometer.
Loved all these! I loved the Ross/Rachel first kiss. "You're over me? When were you under me?" is one of the best lines ever. It's just as wonderful as Pacey counting to 10 before he kisses Joey. I think that was the last really good season (IMO).
And yikes...I'm only on season 5 of X-Files, so that kind of surprised me a bit. Oh well...it was bound to happen.
Jim/Pam...I was a sobbing mess right along with him.
Kind of o/t but I'm very into politics and am a Hillary supporter. When I'm on blogs and read the debates between HRC and Obama people it kind of reminds me of the old shipper wars.
The Jim/Pam was really big and emotional, but nothing beats Buffy/Spike for sheer passion.
The only one on the list that even vaguely approaches was the Dave/Maddie.
But to be fair, I didn't watch Veronica Mars so I can't really judge that one.
I prefer the Sawyer/Kate kiss in the Lost episode, The Glass Ballerina while they're working on the chain gang. Why you ask? Because later in the cages Sawyer gets to tell Kate, "You taste like strawberries." Episode co-written by Drew Goddard, natch.
I remember that moment like it was yesterday. I was so blown away when the camera came around and they were practically inhaling each other. So not what I was expecting. What a great moment... still one of my all-time favorites.
And yikes...I'm only on season 5 of X-Files, so that kind of surprised me a bit. Oh well...it was bound to happen.
It wasn't really all that awesome. The relationship, yes. That scene, no. I would've picked a moment in a different episode you haven't gotten to yet, myself.

They're all just jealous! Willow and Tara had some pretty steamy kissage (at least when the Networks got their heads out of the Puritan long enough to let them).
Some great kisses mentioned there but the one that really hit me emotionally because it was so real was Willow & Tara kissing. It wasn't even a sexual kiss but one that was just pure love and trying to comfort a grieveing Willow.
Now, I watched Veronica Mars and enjoyed the show (not as huge a fan as some on this board are) but the kiss I remember as being great was the one when they were still kind of enemies and he rescued her at a hotel. They were on a balcony and the look they gave each other was just so full of raw emotion and full of hunger and he grabs her and they kiss! Now that was hot!!
I also love the Angel & Buffy kiss when she's in his apartment (and he's shirtless). It was in "Innoncence" She stopped by before school because of the dream of Dru killing Angel and she gets all flustered when she sees him shirtless. As she turns to leave he passionatly grabs her as she's walking away and hungrily kisses her!
And how about Spike & Buffy, well before they were a couple and still hated each other "In Something Blue" and under Willow's spell. Also, Spike thinking Buffy was the Buffybot in "Intervention" and how his confession softens her and she gently kisses him and he realizes she's Buffy! The more I start thinking about the show the more great kissing scenes I remember!
How about Captain Jack and Captain John? That kiss will never be far from the forefront of my mind... Barrowman/Masters - the stuff of slash.
I'm with ya Mort. When I finally convinced my mom to watch that episode, I could hear her squealing throughout the house. Definitely a good way to recruit people for the show, ain't it? ;)
Either Inigo/DP Roberts or Maul/Kenobi, Mal/Atherton in 'Shindig' and Adam Buxton in 'Hot Fuzz' (OK, not strictly a decapitation, more like a very emphatic encapitation - same end result though).
Kiss wise, my favourite is the one that took place between X and Y, where X and Y are whatever 'ship i'm into. S'the beauty of algebra, you can abstract out the details ;).
Firefly Flanatic I am with you on the best Logan-Veronica kiss being that first one on the balcony. It was so real because they were still so confused about their feelings for each other, and yet there's that hunger and at the same time a tenderness. I also am not a huge VM fan because I think it crashed and burned right from the start of the second season, and a lot of that had to with the fact that the show didn't know how to utilize the energy between those two characters, so it just kept resetting back to the original "we hate each other" which got tiresome.
And people, no one's mentioning the Faith-Buffy kisses. Great stuff.
MSN likes lists too. Here's their Valentine's Day list of sexiest movie kisses (I like the Simon/Kaylee kiss at the end of Serenity - in the steamy engine room yet). Enjoy:
Spike kissage is always hot whether he is kissing Buffy or Capt Jack! I also loved the Logan-Veronica kiss on the balcony and Kate & Sawyer, wow. I must admit that I tend to back up and watch kissing scenes over and over. Just one of the great things in life. Happy Valentines to everyone!! *mwah*
The first kiss that comes to mind when I see a list like this is the Willow/Tara kiss. Nothing, absolutely nothing, tops this.
Second place? Veronica & Logan on the motel balcony. Dear god, I could watch that forever.
And the most recent addition? TORCHWOOD SERIES TWO EP 3 SPOILER AHEAD: The Jack and Ianto big one in "To the Last Man." 'Nuf said.
Simon;Actually you're right, your forehead kisses, and you yourself, just a ren't known to e nough people, altho we here are working on the second part of that :-).
Dana5''';Well, that was just a prelude to the lips so kinda-sorta folds in there someplace :-).
You guys can't see me, but I'm pouting. No answer to my question. And after all we've done for you Mods, too. Well, fine, just fine! :: Leaves to go think about hot kissing elsewhere ::

I finally got around to watching Veronica Mars this month and I became a huge fan. I just kind of ended up wishing Joss was supervising the show, I'm pretty sure it could have been better than Buffy, or pretty much anything else. It just missed the continuity of Whedon series', actions in one episode just didn't affect the further episodes enough. The lack of verdict / assassination of the Big Bad was pretty much ignored by everybody, as well as a ton of other less important things. They were heavily included in the one episode and ignored in the rest. The character continuity suffered alot, but the series still rocked!
Vinity, my favorite Chrichton and Aeryn kiss was the one when she approaches him with the bottle to see if they are compatable. Neither of them say a word, they just put the liquid on their tongues and gently kiss. They pull away from each other and she turns and faces the camera and breaks out in a huge smile of joy that he can't see and behind her he does the same. Not so much the kiss but the reaction to what the kiss meant to them was so great!
This is so politically incorrect, but one of the hottest kisses in the Jossverse had to be Angel/Darla in Epiphany.
And since someone already did the Torchwood "To The Last Man" spoiler, I have to agree that the Jack/Ianto kiss in that ep was the hottest "Jack kissing anyone" yet.
But my favorite Torchwood kiss is still Gwen and Owen at the end of Countrycide.
The Best Movie Kisses just didn't do it for me. My favorite movie kiss in anything remotely recent was Colin Farrell and Gong Li in Miami Vice (take your pick, any one will do).
And no Robert Redford/Meryl Streep from Out of Africa??

Buffy/Angel, where her cross melts into him. Talk about Freudian!
Buffy & Spike and Veronica & Logan had some great ones, as did Crichton & Aeryn (both Crichtons) and ... where's Spice? I need my partner!
Happy Valentine's Day to all of you!
