Success! Yet another strike video that I avoided appearing in! It is getting harder though, but I do move in mysterious ways.

And my knees hurt too.

By the way, for those wondering, picketers at NBC Burbank have been walking 6-8 miles during each 3 hour shift. Hence the knees. And the hurting.

I just noticed this Jane blog from the 28th, SAG/WGA Unity Day, in which she mentions Batemans and speeches and fierce winds snapping Joss' picket stick and whipping the sign around the line, threatening life and limb.

Sorry to send you searching through the pages of the L.A. Times for something that wasn't there at all. Their coverage of the strike, for the most part, has been so annoying that it's almost a cruel thing to do.

Hi Whedonesque. I saw a few Mutant Enemy shirts on the line that day, and talked to a lot more writers who didn't want to be on camera (they're writers, not actors after all). The message was this: the strike isn't over until it's over. Please keep supporting the writers. Do what you can! Write those letters! Give a few bucks to Cash for Crews, or participate in the online auctions. There are many ways to support the folks who live to entertain you.
