I didn't like it the first time around and time has not made it any better. I guess super stylized just ain't my thang.

I WOULD love a Buffy cartoon on Saturday mornings, though! Damn the Animated Series that got away!

I saw this at comic con, I thought it was pretty cool and worth the money. Of course, I do waste a lot of money already on toys and figures, so that's where I'm coming from.

count me among the detractors...lovely as it is, there's nothing about the figure that says "Buffy" except the stake.

...and the pool cue, to be fair. Who can forget the one that hung in the frame, then dropped with a PAFT!?

Along with already completed scripts from some of BtVS's best. There should be an annual day of mourning.

I wonder if the real reason The Bronze had to raise prices was the constant pool cue breakage. Those things were always being broken or walked away with.

Can't say I'm a fan of this figure, but then I don't buy figures...

I appreciate that there's more Buffy stuff floating around, but I'm just not a fan of the wasp-waist/big boob depiction of women in general. Sort of a weird mix of messages there--Buffy is a strong independent female, but has an exaggerated sexualized frame. Why can't cartoon Buffy look more normal?

Thank you, library hooligan! These "big-headed" women would be fine if we were drawing attention to their brains, but no, it's to make their waists even smaller and their breasts bigger. Please, let's have some figurations of REAL women. Even Sarah Michelle Gellar, with her tiny frame and waist (ever notice she got smaller over the seasons?), is more of a real woman than this farce.
