At long last, Serenity is Found. Serenity Found: More Unauthorized Essays on Joss Whedon's Firefly Universe, the long awaited sequel to Finding Serenity is now available in bookstores and through Amazon.

My copy was pre-ordered through Amazon and arrived today. I jumped straight to the essay called, "I, Malcolm" written by everybody's favorite Captain. Good writer, that Fillion boy. My favorite part was his description of how Firefly fans speak to him about the show "with reverence, as a dear departed friend we had in common who did so much for them and died far too young."

I got my copy through Amazon, and it arrived today as well. Haven't settled in with it yet; "Bionic Woman" premiere got in the way. Was really surprised to see Mark Sheppard as a guest star. Looks like he may be a recurring character.

It's over now, so... on to the Book! :)

Hmmm... Is it ungrateful to say about time?

What, may I ask, is the "Spoiler" here?

*blushes*

That was actually an accident.

Ok, and my question is...how does anything 'unauthorized' ever get made? Could someone sue if they wanted, but it's generally allowed? I mean, I see 'unauthorized' stuff all the time, and I never understand how it's on a bookshelf!

Unauthorized does not always mean "in violation". In this case it just means it isn't a licensed product from Universal, but rather it is an independently produced book that in no way infringes on the rights of Universal.

Oh, Nathan's essay is fantastic!

I can't wait to get this. Loved the first one.

I'm reading my copy now! So far, so good. Less ranty towards FOX this time around. Kind of miss that. ;) Good stuff. Nathan's essay was great. His mother's comment at the end was hilarious. Maybe she could take his place at the Starfury convention. ;) Oooohhh.. think of the stories she could tell!
And what Jane Espenson said about Joss's writing actually made me a little teary eyed. How wierd is that?
