New Line of Buffy Statues.
A new line of Buffy statues is coming from Electric Tiki. They will be in an animated "Tooned" up style.

The Spike I don't like so much.
I hope these don't end up looking like the Bobble heads.
They ask us to send in our top ten list but theres no link. Anyone know?

Other recent examples that I've seen are a cartoon Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean and
cartoon Saruman from Lord of the Rings.
Cool, but for my price range I would rather see something along the lines of Kevin Smith's "Inaction figures", which are basically plastic statues.

Xane is right -- The Buffy in the top right perfectly captures the character.
Rogue Slayer is right -- Those Spike sketches are hideous. Doesn't look like him at all.

They mentioned, in their reply, that they don't have any "flying-through-the-air" ready-to-stab-a-vamp designs planned for Buffy because they are trying to make a "uniform line" -- which I take to mean a uniform line of BtVS characters. So it sounds like they plan to make more than just a few of the characters.

These sound intresting.

I'd like to see Eric Wright, original designer for Buffy Animated, involved... but then, I'd like to see Buffy Animated actually happen... (sigh)

These are not really my thing either, but I appreciate the work that does go into them.

"These are my My Dinner with Andre action figures and what you can do is re-enact that whole scene with the two guys having dinner. I've been waiting for - they're really rare - for the set from Das Boot."

Heh. I can't wait for For Your Consideration. Guest and gang rule.

I think I never come so close to getting dumped by my life partner as when I call somebody "bastard people" repeatedly in a high squeaky voice, or say, "ass face" over and over again and cackle maniacally. He likes Guest too, but I am one for beating a joke until it lies bleeding on the floor.
And we always have to turn the sound up to eleven because it's one louder.
"My first show was Barefoot in the Park, which was an absolute smash, but my production on the stage of Backdraft was what really got them excited. This whole idea of 'In Your Face' theatre really affected them. The conceptualization, the whole abstraction, the obtuseness of this production to me was what was interesting. I wanted the audience to feel the heat from the fire, the fear, because people don't like fire, poked, poked in their noses... you know when you get a cinder from a barbeque right on the end of your nose and you kind of make that face, you know, that's not a good thing, and I wanted them to have the sense memory of that..."
God, no offense to anyone, but that's like almost every director I ever had in an equity-waiver production.

I know cartoon likenesses aren't supposed to stick all that closely to the original actors appearances, but surely aren't they meant have at least a little of the 'feel' of the character in there?
I don't really get much of that from their Buffy, and none at all from Spike.
Maybe I'm being far too fussy, I don't know...:)
