I believe this is referring to a movie she is shooting called Beautiful Ohio; she mentioned in a magazine interview recently that there would be a nude shot of her rear in the film.

Too bad about the movie scene. If jlp is correct, I smell a body double. As for Playboy, I've heard that they pretty much ask every actress to appear and famous or good ones get asked many times. Just saw that Mercedes is appearing in next month's issue (Nov?), and if doing that helped re-invigorate Charisma's career I hope it also helps Mercedes.

I can't really think of anyone whose career has been helped by a Playboy shoot. CCs career wasn't exactly dead before her appearance and it didn't help Kristy Swanson.

Much as I like seeing hot babes with little or no clothing I always think it's sad when someone famous or formerly famous get's to a point where they decide to do a PB shoot. Just seems like a last, desperate, shot.

I think some women do it to change up their image. Case in point, Tiffany of mall-touring fame did a shoot a few years ago. Girl grew UP! She wanted to really distance herself from that old, denim-jacket & lace teeny-bopper she used to be.

Course, I don't know if it actually worked, but that was the intention.
