'Heroes' Stars to Have Q&A Panel at Comic-Con. The cast of the new NBC series starring Leonard Roberts (Forrest, from BtVS)will be at a panel, which will include an exclusive screening of a 72 minute cut of the show's pilot. Buffy Animated artist Eric Wight will also be appearing to promote his new TokyoPop book 'My Dead Girlfriend' and will be doing signings as well.

Also, USA Today's Pop Candy blogger Whitney Matheson is going to be covering Comic-Con, so there's a chance she might post some news from the Whedonverse.

I've seen it. I think it's interesting, but (and I may be wrong) I'm not sure it'll stick a full season.

The very nice Eric Wight sent me a couple of Comic-con related items so I've added them to the subject line. So if you are in the neighhbourhood, say hi to him and may get your Buffy Animated tatoo signed as well (I know of at least one Buffy fan who got one done).

I'm so excited about Heroes. Between Milo, Greg, Jeph I'm having a complete geekasam. I just hope the writing is good. Knowing my luck it will be beautifully written and acted, so of course it will turn in to tragically canceled.

Acting, mostly good. Great direction. Script is a little rough, but watchable.

Pretty much no humour, except for some Star Trek gag they do 4 times.

No humor with Greg Grunberg? Huh. Well, I'll be watching anyway. Thanks, gossi.

The writing is the only thing I'm worried about. From what little I've seen of "Crossing Jordan", not a whole lot of humor. I'm afraid this may turn into another "Earth 2", also created by someone with little SF experience -- it was a decent show that got to be a little not-fun and tiresome by the time it ended. I'm hopeful that they have or get some writers in who can handle the humor and save this show from its "tragically canceled" fate... And I also wish there were more "Heroes" fan forums. *snicker*

Greg isn't actually in the pilot, neither is Leonard.
I agree with everything gossi said about it.
I don't think it will last but I'll watch it as long as it does.
