This does sort of make me insanely jealous. Good taste, looks, and intellegence should never be found within a single person since it rather puts the rest of us to shame. ^_^

To be fair, he's probably the only person in the world named Wentworth... ;)

In much the same way that you just have to suspend disbelief in order to enjoy the Buffyverse, and not discount it because of the supernatural content, Prison Break is enjoyable and indeed there have been several very strong performances. Millar in particular is very engaging and is definitely the anchor of the show.
I think that was a really cool interview and it's nice to see someone who has such appreciation for a fanstic show that has been misunderstood and underestimated by so many people. It's nice to see another person very much in the limelight who is willing to comment on how brilliant Buffy was, and particularly on SMG's amazing performance. And of course Millar did have a role in "Go Fish".

It was fun going back and watching "Go Fish" after seeing him in Prison Break, especially with the knowledge that he was such an intelligent literati.

I know what you mean by that, potential, as the mid-season hiatus did lead me to focus on other shows instead, but I'd highly recommend trying to get into it again! The back nine does have a fairly good payoff, and it's nice to see the main plot actually go somewhere *coughcoughLost*, nonsensical though it may be. Wentworth is fantastic in some of the later eps too, so try to give it a go again!

That's pretty much exactly how I felt. While reading the article, I was going around, looking for reviews of Prison Break and seeing when the DVDs get released.

The guy knows a star when he see's one. Nice shout out to Sarah. She's a class act on every level.
Loving the "BTVS was a terrific show" too. Damn skippy on both counts.

It makes absolutely no sense to me why Prison Break news is considered relevant but Veronica Mars is cast aside. I've heard the excuses, don't try to make me listen to reason.
I'm too unreasonable.

Personally I think that was the right decision. There are strong ties between VM and Joss, and all of those, such as the involvement of Alyson, Charisma and Joss in VM, were all well documented many times. Since the decision to cut down on VM news, if there are big announcements (such as the show being renewed for a third season) then everyone is happy for them to appear here, or if someone which directly mentions Joss or his work, then it is entirely appropriate. However if everyone was to post the slightest bit of news about VM then it would be a VM weblog, and not a Joss one. Really, I don't see what the problem is as I am sure there are many VM sites out there.
And also, I don't think there has been a lot of news about Prison Break at all, and certainly nowhere near the same level of coverage VM has received. The connection with Joss is much less important than his ties with VM, and I think that has been reflected in the posts here. Had this interview been with another high profile but completely unconnected with Joss celebrity, for example off the top of my head, Matthew Fox from Lost, and he praised Buffy, then it would be newsworthy here. I think it's even more appropriate that Wentworth does have a connection to the Jossverse. However had the interview not mentioned Buffy at all I doubt it would have been posted here.

In my country there's a proverb that says something like "Envy is our National Sport and not soccer". When you're not only successful, but made a cult product, seems very difficult to be considered fairly, doesn't it? :(
