Was Tony the only MAJOR Buffyverse star with a pilot for next season?

Last year we had new shows for David,Alyson,Nick and Christian and a few other alumni.

I sort of lost track of who had pilots that went into development for series contention,as in pilots that were filmed.

The networks do a lot of strange things.There was all this buzz on the Aquaman pilot that is now pretty much dead.It sounds sort of like what happened with the Dark Shadows and Lost In Space pilot situation with The WB.They were high on it for while and then lost interest when they saw the pilot.And it looks like The CW is bringing back 7th Heaven for another season of 13 episodes after The WB canceled it and the show aired it's series finale last Monday.A series finale that was heavily promoted as the final episode.

7th Heaven's,Countdown To Good Bye? Apparently not anymore.

The industry is calling this a big shocking move by The CW network.

Shame, I was unsure whether wanting to see Tony in something would have made me watch someting with Kim Cattrall in it, but still a shame for everyone involved. Probably would have watched the pilot just to see what it was like (had no real interest in Kitchen Confidential before it started and watched the pilot solely 'cos Nick was in it, and that was excellent).

Hope Tony finds work soon, I'd love to see him back on Doctor Who.

And 7th Heaven needs to go to hell. And it had gone there, it had died, and they go and bring it back. ARGH! Not to bothered about anything else on TheCW but if Veronica Mars doesn't get picked up this Thursday I won't be best pleased. (And my mother has been warned that should this happen, her 7th Heaven DVDs will be going on the fire, I've been meaning to do that for a while.)

Which is why this news sort of makes my stomach turn.Angel gets canceled and yet 7th Heaven goes on for 10 season and now gets resurrected for another season on the new network with a miraculous save.

The first thought that passed by in my mind was,why couldn't something like this had happen for Angel?

This was the type of thing that was hoped for with the Save Angel campaign and it's 7th Heaven that gets the miracle save two years later with no fan help needed either.

And 7th Heaven needs to go to hell. And it had gone there, it had died, and they go and bring it back. ARGH! According to Mediaweek (see below), 7th Heaven is coming back for a 13th season.

My sources at the CW tell me this would only happen if they were "desperate," so I'm guessing their pilots didn't turn out as well as expected.

I'm also told regarding Veronica Mars that A) Dawn Ostroff is "the only one who wants it to come back and is fighting hard for it" but B) Kristen Bell tells me she's pretty sure she'll be in New York next week for the upfronts ... So ... I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE that Veronica Mars WILL come back!

If 7th Heaven returns and not VM, I might DIE.

Mediaweek says: 7th Heaven, the longest-running family drama in television history, in a surprising move, will return for its 11th season on the new CW network this
fall. Mediaweek has learned that a deal has been reached to bring the show back for at least 13 episodes. CW officials refused comment.

Next we'll be hearing Charmed is coming back.'eye roll'

I just got addicted to Veronica Mars this season, and if it gets the axe I don't know if I'll be able to open my heart to and more new shows. All the ones I love die horrible, untimely deaths.
