I'm so, so buying. By the way, Gunn's wife made a mockumentary which features James, Nathan and several other Slither people on the extras for the DVD. Details on his website.
The reviews for Slither really have been excellent in the UK, as James says. In fact, I haven't actually seen a bad UK review yet, which is pretty funny for a horror film...

(Don't know why I've been channeling Barney/HIMYM all day -- I just have. Hmm.)

Have to see if we can keep the flag flying (or parasites slithering ?) over here.

Still at least it was well received critically so hopefully it won't hurt Nathan or James Gunn too badly.

Gossi, the mockumentary you speak of is Lollilove, and it looks to be hi-larious. And for those who do not know, Gunn's wife is Jenna Fischer, Pam on the American version of the Office.
Huh... didn't know that. Explains why she was in the movie though.

I wrote to James Gunn and promised that if Nathan was on the commentary I'd buy two copies of the DVD. He wrote back stating that with Nathan's movie schedule it might be tough to get him. I'm ecstatic that they worked it out. Now I'll be buying two copies; one to keep and one to lend to others.
I thought "Slither" got pretty good reviews in the States, it just didn't get an audience.

Ironically, she wasn't actually supposed to be in it. According to #41 on the 50 Fun Facts About Slither list (scroll down to see it), she just happened to be visiting the set when the intended actor dropped out. Cheers to happy accidents, I say!
